Live Summary: Twenty handymen test their skills in a competition for an HGTV network deal and $10,000 Sears shopping spree.Things are heating up as the "final ten" contestants face their most severe test yet : a nerve-wracking, one-on-one mini-challenge with each judge behind closed doors. With Mike Holmes the handymen must first answer some skill and knowledge-based questions before being tested on what they see "wrong" with a purposely mis-constructed powder room. Scott McGillivray will then get the handymen to measure and then cut a unique shape from plywood in order to fit over a matching plywood "template"- a challenge that looks simple but is anything but.

Synopsis Of All-American Handyman 2x 2 - Good on Paper : Twenty handymen test their skills in a competition for an HGTV network deal and $10,000 Sears shopping spree.In the world of handyman rough drawings and detailed plans are common. In this episode the fourteen remaining handymen are first given a simple, but not-to-scale drawing of either a planter box, folding table or outdoor chair. Their challenge is to build - in limited time and with only this drawing as a reference - a functioning version of the item they've been assigned.
